Week 19 – Tomatoes!

TuesBLTs w/avocado
Wedstomato quiche
Thurs pasta puttanesca (Viva Italia)
Fri burgers and sweet corn on the grill
Alts chip plate; pizza
Our garden is giving us a handful of fresh tomatoes daily now. Friends and family have recently brought more to our door. Hence, the theme of this week's menu. My mom also brought some fresh sweet corn from Iowa. Mmm. Will be enjoying that a few days this week as well. Happy cooking.

  1. Yumm, there is nothing better than fresh tomatoes. The problem is if you don't can them, how do you not end up throwing so many away? You have one solution here (=eat them as fast as possible), but are there other ideas for extending the usefulness of these garden delights??
